Wednesday, October 28, at the Hopmonk Tavern. Doors open at 6:00pm,  MAKE contest at 6:30pm, presentations start at 7:30pm.

Want to present? If you want  5 minutes on stage to tell the world about your passions and obsessions, submit your idea for an Ignite talk by October 14 at the latest (we love early submissions!).

What *is* Ignite? It's a fun, high-energy evening of a dozen or so "speed presentations" given by people like you to their hometown crowd. Ignite presenters get 5 minutes to talk about whatever lights them up, using 20 slides that auto-advance every 15 seconds--whether they're ready or not. It has a geek culture bent, though folks have talked about everything from "How to Work a Crowd" to "Hacking Chocolate" to "19th Century Pneumatic Tubes."
